Bass Boats

I own a 97 Viper by Cobra, key word "OWN" Have you seen the prices of boats now days. I was looking into buying a 09 Z9 Nitro CDC 21' w/225 Merc. it was 60,000 dressed out. I'd have to sell the house and the wife. I think I will have to keep fishing out of my old Cobra, she gets across the lake quick.  I've caught a lot of Bass over the years and with these prices there will be a lot more years to go.

Lake Livingston

Water is muddy with all the rain that they have had in the last few weeks. I hate MUDDY WATER!

Crappie

The Trip started out as a Bass Fishing trip to Lake Livingston. Bass are slow, so when at Lake Livingston do as the fishermen there do, went back to the Marina and picked up some minnows. I filled up the boat with some good 12" crappie for a fish fry this weekend.
Crappie are up in the creeks in 8 - 10 ft. off water.

Lake O' the Pines

Lake O' the Pines:
This lake is not known for the large black Bass, like Lake Fork. When I moved down here for work, living close to lake after hearing about the KYKX 105.7 Big Bass Bonanza was a must. Now don't get me wrong there are planty of Bass in this lake, they are just 10" to 22" (11oz. - 8lbs.)with lots of 1 to 2 pounders.
Then there are days like last Saturday when I was on the lake for 8 hours and not even a hit, no bait fish, nothing. If someone knows why Bass just stop biting or where they go when they just stop. Please let me know. Thanx—————————————o*)))><
